I have just seen an article on the migration of red crabs on Easter Island. One of earth's wonders and apparently they are harmless...

They look amazing but on the same island there is a more sinister crab.. the coconut crab can grow to 1 meter across and break open a coconut with its fangs

This turned out to be far less scary and less gross than i originally thought

My first reaction seeing the title - "say what now?"

No Tom, they are classed as decapods, 8 legs and two smaller ones at the front to catch food that is then shredded and moved into their mouths

Fun fact...

If you hold a crab to your ear, you can hear what it sounds like to be attacked by a crab!

Depends on the type of crab...

There are crabs on Easter Island that crack open cocunuts

Do you mean Christmas Island rather than Easter Island Tom?

Either way I am sure it’s a literally, littorally, laterally amazing event to witness.

It would be venom, venom is injected, poison is ingested but you’re right
