Yesterday on the station platform a bloke who looked older than me walked past. Long and thin, black clothes, Boris type hair..... and the spangliest, metallic pink trainers with gold heels and pink laces......
Just made me beam. I thought fuck yeah grandad...

I went out this morning to say hello to the cows who all gathered around me as I wished them a glorious morning.
Then one of them let out an enormous fart and three of the others charged away across the field |

When people show their appreciation when it's not actually necessary. Ie at work. Clients thanking you for producing something, even though its your job and they're paying you. It's nice to be nice. |

At the weekend I went to pay for diesel and a packet of wine gums, apologies to extinction rebellion, at the till a lovely young lady asked me for ID to prove my age and had a smile that lit the room as if to show she was just being playful. It was just a lovely exchange.  |

Petrol station staff are being trained to ask those that look over 80 years old for identification as a welfare check. I think she was just looking out for you. |

Best thing about working from home. I've seen more colleagues' puppies and cats than I have their kids and that's how I like it!
In fairness, it's mostly been bumholes with the cats, they love to flash their arses on cam. |

I run this morning and spotted this cute b&w cat sitting on the of half sunken boat. Relaxing there happily in the sunshine. Positioned like a loaf of bread and beautifully balanced on the boat's edge. I had to stop and take a pic! |

Best thing about working from home. I've seen more colleagues' puppies and cats than I have their kids and that's how I like it!

In my local Sainsbury’s they employ elderly check out assistants. I always go to Granville. He always puts a smile on my face with his stories and how slow he is at scanning 
One time I went in and bought some of those character pants. Specifically Star Wars.
Granville picked them up and looked at me, he said “are you single?”
I said “yes, whyyyyyy?”
He said “I thought so, I don’t think these pants will help!”

Just above 2 years ago I helped someone get away from a controlling woman beating bullying fucking idiot.
I let her stay at mine for a few weeks while she sorted a home back up by her family in Wales.
I knew things were bad in her relationship but not as bad as it was. She was broken. She couldn't even smile and was a nervous wreck. She was a Shell of the person I knew before.
Anyway I did everything I could while she sayed here to help her heal laugh and live again.
She eventually got a new home and moved back to Wales. We stayed in touch by text and the odd call and
I could tell she was slowly getting better. Last week she told me she was coming down here to visit old friends and asked if she could call in as she wanted to see me and thank me for all i did.
Anyway she called in here yesterday and I couldn't stop smiling at how radiant happy and beautiful she had become. Honestly we didn't stop laughing and chatting. A quick visit lasted 6 hours and felt like 10 min. I'm literally over the moon at how happy and glowing with the love of life she has become. Its literally made my year |

The staff at Morrison's, guys and women, who always acknowledge me whatever they are doing, who then leave me with a warm feeling that makes me want to shop mostly at Morrison's. I don't really get it anywhere else. |
