I don't really have any that wind me up all by themselves. Not a fan of a mispronounced saying "foul swoop" and the like or where a phrase or word is used out of context. Generally if I like the person it will take a lot for them to irritate me. A decent personality is worth far more than any petty dislike I may have. Equally, an erudite prick will still annoy me however precise their diction or diverse their vocabulary.

According to UD:

Do it for the gram means you do things in your life so you can take pictures and show off on instagram for example you buy jordans or other expensive things just to post on Instagram look for likes

Man Im finna hit the mall and take pictures for the gram yall know I do it for the gram

Id add the correction that it means do crazy shit to show off on social media even if it’s risky

like people who take pics close to the edge of canyon because it looks fucking SO INSTAGRAMMABLE!!

There are no phrases that wind me up.

I've long since realised that if I get wound up - that it's all very context depended, very situational and the personalities and moods involved - including my own - are all contributory factors to cranking my handle.

My handle is rarely cranked.

Someone attractive, I mostly heard it used by boys who talk about girls they like

“She’s peng”

Don’t know where that came from.

As a musician.

“Come and play at our venue it’ll be great exposure for your band”

Usually followed by zero crowd, zero payment and unsurprisingly zero exposure

People saying "See you later" when quite plainly they aren't going to see me later or even know me for that matter... usually in shops.

When people say they want to meet someone with "banter"

What they actually mean is someone who isn't shy, and can flirt

Banter is what I have with the fella at the butchers when im buying some sausages and he's talking about the footy scores.

Or lack of elocution as an excuse.

I hate it abhorrent words such as "banter".

And then it's even worse when they abbreviate it to "bants". FUCK OFF!

The use of the word "props", as in "I have to give him props".

Where did that come from?

‘Nowadays’

It’s usually quite far off. ‘Why don’t people send nudes nowadays’

Ahh yes. As opposed to the good old 60s when everyone was sending fanny fax’s daily

"I don't like stock sayings that are put out on social media and such.

'Live your best life' etc. Usually said by people who would shit on you as soon as the opportunity arose.

Oh and 'by close of play' Yeesh

What about the “do it for the ‘graaaam” term

I've never heard of that!

Class dismissed

"

The gram is really getting to me. Queing up to get in Instagramable restaurants even though the foods average, Instagram island , a tiny bit of white sand in the Red sea , literally packed full of people gramming
