It doesn't matter if you don't know where they are from, or if you are using a bastardised version of the original, but things that you occasionally say to yourself to help you along the way. One of my favourites is by novelist Kurt Vonnegut and is something like "I tell you we are put on this earth to bugger about and don't let anyone tell you different" - it's all about not taking everything so seriously, and just enjoying yourself. Another similar one (no idea where from) is "You don't stop playing games because you get old, you get old because you stop playing games" - so true! Anyone offering "Live, Laugh, Love" or similar will be taken outside and summarily executed." That one about getting old and playing has the same effect on me as "live, laugh,love" does on you | |||
