Maybe. I can get social anxiety, I’m not the most confident person in real life irrespective of the bobbins I post on here, so something like the MLS for example would be my version of hell, but I’m not a manic depressive.

But I’m sure there are those that are both

"Do they cross over "

In my totally unprofessional opinion the answer would be yes.

You get anxious about having a manic or depressive episode. Therein lies the cross over.

Don't worry though. I was diagnosed as a psychopath at 21. Contrary to popular myth I do not have a homicidal desire to change my name to Jason.

But I'm substantially less emotional than those around me. I'm just more spock than kirk. OK to be fair I'm a lot more spock. Fuck it I'm vulcanised, OK. There I've said it now

But on a serious note I see it more as a superpower than a hinderance. And I only use my powers for good.

My advice. Every mental health issue exists in all of us. We have a need to be happy and a need to be sad. In my case we need to be logical and we've all had moments when emotions are not our best tool.and some beautiful moments of joy. It's when they are not in balance and cause problems, that they are then referred to as a mental illness.

But in relation to the question. If you were less anxious about having an episode. The cross over would likely recede.

Just remember you are the best you that ever existed. Anything else would just be a cheap imitation.
