If you report a profile for not using their own photos or whatever, you don't get blocked from seeing their profile afterwards.
Have photos and videos in folders for easier organisation.
Have a different way of joining to reduce non original photo liberators etc etc.
Emojis available to use on profiles and status updates. |

Limit messaging or add more filters
Currently the biggest issue I had with fab was 99% of my message just not being opened
I see women often saying their inbox is too flooded to see them all
The short time I had a couples profile I experienced the same. Endless messages, mostly rubbish, and we would miss a lot of good messages because of the volume
I feel like new accounts should have a lower message limit that increases with time on the site or with verifications. It was my experience that the bulk of rubbish messages was from either new accounts or blank/low effort profiles |

You can "jump to newest" which takes you to the bottom of the thread x"

And definitely limit messages for those not photo verified/newbies.
If you get banned for something on the forum, being able to see what it was you got banned for  |

I don't get why this one hasn't been done already, it's suggested constantly. It would be be far more pleasant not to get bombarded the second you log in or questioned on what you're doing and why you've not replied yet. I'm sure that years ago it just said 'online in last 24 hours' |

This and the ability to rearrange photo order."
I like that idea too! The upload date can still be there though to counter the question of whether they lookthe same. Some pics just look better than others. |

Yes! There are loads and loads of free sites (non sex based) that are free and have infinitely better user interfaces.
Plus it's £5 a month but from a hell of a lot of users and very very little in the way of overheads |

Disappointed that since I was last here the Platinum access has taken away the ability to view private (ie not Friends only) pics, that used to be excellent.
Would be good if Platinum was opened up to a larger percentage of the user base rather than the original 250 people who were around when FabSwingers first started.  "

Filter messages by location/distance.
I don't want messages from people in Basingstoke or Brooklyn, would be great to be able to add an extra message filter to limit that. |

This I find very concerning. I would not be happy about random people being able to view my private pictures, that is what 'private' is all about, sharing with select people by choice not every stalker on the site. And allowing someone to override filters to message people is totally wrong.

In addition to the current delete options, the option to mass delete messages by either ‘no previous contact’ ‘non friends’ or ‘not on my hotlist’ would be nice |

Being able to see age preferences & if profiles don't want to see a single guys when browsing, without having to go into profiles.
I know you can set filters but I've done this and still come up against profiles that don't meet single guys or I'm too old. |

1) Search in browse meets for what someone is looking for not just who has posted
2) geographical accuracy (Norwich is not in the East Midlands, Leeds is not in the North East. I can help with this, I did it for my old employers database)
3) Separate categories for Transgender women and transvesitites
4) Extension of the club listings to include those outside UK that fabsters have visited and can review
5) Calendar listing where clubs can list dates of events. Would make it easier to see what events are going on.
6) Automatic closing of threads after 6 months from last message so that people stop adding messages to out of date threads |

I'd like an update to the forums so they operate like many other forums. Instead of just quoting text, you ought to be able to respond to a comment directly underneath it so you can see the conversation about it. |

It would be interesting to understand the potential cost implications because I would imagine that the cost per current site supporter to implement and maintain even 2/3 of the above suggestions would be minimal and most wouldn’t mind paying for that |

The ability to search meets by distance, How is this not a thing? We don’t use the ‘Meets and Events’ section as there are just too many to go through.

A swipe left or right feature in the video chat. So you can instantly video chat in private with people where there's mutual attraction. It's far easier to judge compatability if you see and talk to people live. |

This I find very concerning. I would not be happy about random people being able to view my private pictures, that is what 'private' is all about, sharing with select people by choice not every stalker on the site. And allowing someone to override filters to message people is totally wrong.

It is meant as a joke but people quite rightly get upset by it as they wouldn't know if it was true or not.
None of what the man or anyone who mentions platinum membership is the truth. I have left the post on so people can see there is not a platinum option. |

Things do change. Granted there’s not changes all the time, but they do happen. For example, the uploading of videos only came in the last couple of years, as did the ability to send a direct photo when messaging people.
There’s a few things I’d like to see changed or added, but quite a lot of people actually like the old-skool simplicity of the site. I’m one of those. |

Don’t underestimate the costs though. Minimal is relative. A £1m is nothing to amazon, google etc, but £100k of costs could be high for a small site like this.
I agree it would be worth an assessment, but I suspect that has already been done and the decision made to ‘milk’ what’s already there vs invest and inevitably have to increase fees to cover those costs and get a good ROI.

As someone who regularly letsnmy membership lapse and wonder if it's worth the money is be against this.
Not sure it would stop timewasters, stop fake profiles yes. |

Give all new profiles two weeks free maximum before having to pay. Then require a different email address if they want to rejoin. That would surely reduce the number of timewasters |
