Has anyone else had this nasty cold/flu thing that’s been doing the rounds? I’ve pretty much been floored for two weeks now, and it doesn’t seem to be getting better! How long did you have it for?

Three work colleagues have recently been off with really bad colds, one of them did have covid.

I've had two bouts recently that floored me and am not feeling 100% this week. Hoping I can shrug it off - I'm also actively increasing my vit D level!

I'm wearing a mask now to avoid the common cold and flu, not Covid anymore. I've always wanted to do it but now, I can do it without getting the looks.

Ah, the non-Covid cold. I didn’t feel right for ages, but it does bugger off eventually.

Have a nice man on hand to feed you soup and Lemsip and milk it for all it’s worth!

I’ll be 2 weeks tomorrow , still “snotty” and coughing , tested negative throughout,

I've gotta recommend those nasal sprays that combat germs, not sure if I'm allowed to say the brand name, but there are own brand ones available also.

At the FIRST sign of a cold /virus coming on, you feel it at the back of your nose or throat, use this spray, it'll either stop it or lessen the duration, I swear by it!! No I'm not on commission, I just use it and it works.

Hubby and I are just getting over it, not seen hubby unwell like this before but he refused to let it fully affect him.

I was I'll for a week, got better an went back to my usual activities (gym, walking etc) for about a week and a half and then got it again for another week and just getting over it now
