Worth getting dressed up for
Jump to: Newest in thread
Everything. Everything is worth getting dressed up for. If you have nice clothes wear them every day. Someone once told me I turned up for work looking as if I was going out for dinner. I looked at her like , why wouldn't I wear nice stuff if I have it?
When my aunt died in her mid eighties we cleared pristine clothes out of her wardrobe that she'd been saving for "best". What a waste of lovely clothes. |

I agree with you on this. If you own nice clothes why save them for special occasions. Life is a special occasion |

"Anything that requires dressing up for, I dress to suit the venue and occasion...there is such a thing as overdressed though "
Do you think? I know that people often say that about me . I do dress more casually than I used to since I stopped working though. I just enjoy clothes |

I'm talking extremes, my smart casual is definitely more smart than casual...but I'd never rock up to the local bowling alley in a spangly dress |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
Always for a nice restaurant.
After more than a year of wearing comfy clothes in front of a screen I'm making a point of wearing a different nice outfit for every in-person meeting I have.
