Morning all happy weekends. Just reading in the paper lidl has topped a poll as having a quality champagne. I am not a champagne drinker by the way but quite often notice the lower priced items come out top. So my conclusion is paying top dollar is not always best

Just because it costs more definitely doesn't mean it's any better.

In my line of work, there were moments with lots of free champers during events etc.

Could drink about half a glass and that’s it. My stomach can’t digest it it’s so freaking heavy!

Prosecco just goes down a treat, especially pink

I agree. There was a question I got asked amd I repeat to lots.

‘If you discovered the best cake you’ve ever eaten, and you decide to share it with ten of your friends. Now all of them said it is horrid. Would you continue to buy it and enjoy it?’

It’s not the money it costs, it’s all about individual tastes. A brand is very lucky if they can get something out there for the majority to lik.

It’s evil

A bottle of rum no morning after. A bottle of Prosecco genuinely thought I was dying while

Someone drilled into my skull at same time lol

Nothing wrong with expensive champagne. Billecart Salmon is a particular favourite, it's by no means the most expensive but pricey enough to be a rare treat.

I am a champagne fan and co-op do a beautiful one, noticed it’s come up high on the list again (above Lidl) a few years ago my local coop sold off the left overs half price after Christmas so I had really good champagne for £9 a bottle- I often spend more than that on a bottle of wine
