I use reviews for everything! My sister slags me rotten as I can't buy a toothbrush without reading reviews, never mind a holiday! If you've ever wrote one, I've probably read it and taken your opinion on board. |

I use it a lot to find restaurants and bars to go to when I’m somewhere I don’t know. I find the reviews very useful although I can read 20 good reviews about somewhere and 1 bad one and all I can think about is the one bad one and it puts me off going there, which can be annoying but I can’t help it. I realise that no matter how good a place is there will always be one customer every now and then who will have a bad experience, either a waiter has an off day or maybe even the customer is overly fussy, but that doesn’t stop me thinking the same thing will happen to me if I go there. I’ve never left a review on there though and I don’t know anyone who has so it does make you wonder who writes them. It’s like comment sections on certain websites, I don’t know anyone who writes comments in them...I also don’t know anyone who’s ever texted in or phoned in to a radio show. |
