Ghostbusters Afterlife.

30 years of waiting and I've just come out of watching it.

What a film.

Honestly I don't even know how to begin to process this.

As a huge fan of the original movie I have been so nervous and worried about this film as I really wanted it to be special. Ghostbusters was the first film I ever saw at the cinema as a kid when my Mum and my Gran took me.

This film delivers on every aspect. It's not perfect and it's obviously not as good as original, but, the nostalgia, the emotion and the feeling of pure joy as I watched this was something I will never forget. I laughed, I jumped, I fist pumped and I cired. Oh man did I cry!

If you were a small boy running around as a kid pretending to bust ghosts. Do not miss this film.

Oh and as heads up it has two post credit scenes. One middle of credits and one right at end. You don't want to miss either.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Thanks for the review. I am planning to see it.

Do you think someone who saw the original as an adult will feel that nostalgic excitement? I didn't run around busting ghosts.

If you're a fan then absolutely. It just holds that extra bit of special magic for me as it was such a big part of my childhood.

Loved the original, and as long as this one's better than the last attempt, I'll give it a go.

New Blade, new Matrix, new Insidious..soo many goodies that I want to check out

I've been wary of this one. The original was clearly a wacky and fun story with lots of humour. The ads I've seen of the new one look very serious and not like it's a comedy. Maybe that's misleading, but I don't know.

It's a very funny film. Paul Rudd is an absolute treasure.

I saw the first screening of GB Afterlife at where I work yesterday and I loved every minute of it.

I laughed, I cried, I even yelped at one of the scarier moments.

This was indeed a worthy follow up to the original Ghostbusters movies and will look forward to see where it goes from here in the future.

It really is magical isn’t it. I wasn’t prepared for that ending. Got me right in the feels.
