Maybe they don’t know you properly on a friendship level but recognise you or know of your existence in the real world.
These people tend to message saying oh if only I’d known you were on here I’d….

I too have had similar. A girl I used to work with recognised me on fab and the next time I saw her it came up in conversation.
She said,"Hey Mr naughty secret, so I see you and the mrs are swingers"
Followed by,"when should I come over?"
She assumed that just because we were here that we would guaranteed be up for it. I had to politely but firmly explain that just because she was a lady,we were a couple and we were all swingers...did NOT mean it was a certain thing because SHE was up for it.
