Unopened messages

I send about two or three messages a year. Over ten years, probably forty or fifty at most.
To me, sending the first message should be used incredibly sparingly - when there’s something in the other person’s profile that makes you sense that you’ll “click” with them on many levels (not just they look great, they live locally)

If someone has sent a reply even once ... from the sent box you can go back in to that message and see new messages as well... |

Eight. Three to friends who will read them later. Two responding to couples who have messaged us and three to single guys from the South East who messaged us whilst we were in London but we declined their offers of company. |

I just delete them if unopened after a week. Recently had someone message me and add me as a friend etc. then just don’t open your messages for a week, it happens  |
