Yes, I loved it! Don't like Top Gear since they got rid of the original trio and then tried to bring people in to fill each personality (which they did a terrible job at). |

i was at the bulldog bash when this happened, truly shocking, it took a few days for the real injuries came out, i had often watched him, and was a massive fan, and was watching when it happened, you could tell it wasnt good then, never went to the event after that, for other reasons, so remember it clearly,nice to see top gear do something like this, after all alot of car drivers probably didnt really know how special a rider he was |

He completed the London Marathon quite a few years ago. Took him a few days, but people like me who remember him in his prime were over the moon for him.
Just watched the tribute and I thought about bloody time. So say what you want about the new trio (I like them) on their watch they’ve finally given him the publicity he deserves.  |

It was a great piece and very sobering at the same time. Really hit home how we should try and enjoy ourselves as much as we can while we can as you literally don’t know what’s just around the corner.
I remember him as a kiddie and my Dad took me to see one of his stunt shows so I was lucky enough to see him at his prime (even if I can’t remember *too* much about it). He had everything at that time, the looks, talent, fame, the girls … all gone in an instant. Very sad. |
