How do you spend your free time? How do you chill out and enjoy having absolutely nothing planned? I have a very very rare afternoon/evening tomorrow where I am not doing anything at all! Nothing in the diary, kids are with their dad so I thought I might ditch the housework and do… nothing! (I give myself half hour till I’m bored and wish I had made plans! ) I don’t watch tele so that’s not an option, thought I’d see what everyone else does instead |

I recently did an armed forces mental awareness course, and we did this little exercise where you calculate your free time.
Hours in the week
- hours worked
- hours slept
- hours shopping
- hours cleaning
- hours physically socialising
Then work out what you are left with each day. I could have another full time job. I was shocked!
Spend to much time here and procrastinating |

I read, wank, nap, arse about online, dance round the flat in my underwear belting out disco classics, whatever takes my fancy.
Today I had one of those rare days so I posted a meet request when I was heading to a local coffee shop and met a very nice and very sexy man for a spur of the moment cuppa and a laugh. |

Normally I catch up on TV in my spare time.. but still.. working out or going for a run comes as a good hobby then a walk by myself with my headphones in, phone on silent and block the world for that glorious hour of just me and my tired feet lol |

I just planned a trip for me and one of my best friends to do some sightseeing and visit one of London food markets. So yes.. active is good in my books. But when I'm lazy I am happiest with a buffet of snacks and self refilling tea pot or glass of wine and a movie marathon. Or deep chats with friends. Anything goes. |

Oh definitely. Especially when you stumble on some gems of tunes that you never considered listening to before |

It all depends what mood I am in, late
Y, I just need to switch off so I go online gaming and I can waste a few hours easily.
Other times, I do geeky nerdy stuff. Painting, guitar, making stuff. I fleet from lots of different things, golf is now becoming a thing again.. |

In the week I am in mum mode so it's hard to have any free time bar the daily dog walk so I try to mind dump and enjoy the walk and some photography for an hour
Weekends are C's time to strut so mad adventures with fab friends are in order |

We have acres of free time in the sense that we aren't tied to a paid job. It's something we both looked forward to for years. I can't tell you how freeing it is to be able to do all the things you wanted to do but all your other responsibilities prevented. I don't think we ever do absolutely nothing though. Even if it appears that way there's always something going on in our head. |

Listen to music. Chill. Sit and ponder, plan. Meditate. Have a bath. Have a lie down, but without the intention of sleeping/napping - just to rest my body. Go for a walk in the park. A bike ride. Maybe read some stuff online I’ve bookmarked. Self massage. Stretching. |

"Thanks for all the ideas! I’m going to really live it up and do some crafting this afternoon, run a nice bath and then sit in bed with tea and snacks this evening till I pass out I even get a lie in tomorrow too!
Not sure I’m really selling myself as someone exciting with that admission though however if anyone enjoys lazy picnics in bed then I’m your woman "

Yea that's why I like Animal Crossing too. So far it's the only game I play consistently since buying the Switch back in September. It helps after dealing with shit customers all day. |

When I have time off from anything that takes priority, I enjoy sitting in meditation, discovering new music and listening to funky tunes, earthing, studying, getting creative, woodland and coastal walks, and lots more |
