Can't wait for the directors cut with deleted scenes - footage gate!

There's gonna be some serious ammendments to the rules now I'd say, having a car that can go from last to first and a team that can afford an engine swap whenever they please is a bit worrying. Obviously doesnt take away from lewis with that outragious performance over the weekend.

What a race and what a battle. There was nothing really in the incident. Two class drivers just pushing the limits.

Think I'd like some more of this for the last few outings.

I thought it was a fantastic couple of races. The only sad part for me appears to be the FIA, and their many grey areas to application of rules. Just make them black & white. I also want to see gravel traps back at circuits. I’d like to see drivers have a little jeopardy when they take liberties with track extremities.

I'm with you on that, especially the gravel traps. It was a brilliant race though, but then again I remember Hunt/Lauda and Senna/Prost

It was an amazing race and what drive from LH44. You have to remember that it's not just about the car,if it was VB 77 would have won from pole. Lewis showed class and determination. Its amazing what an individual can do when they have their back against the wall in any life situation not just F1. The car is fast but I can tell you that if that same car had been give to Nikita or Mick on Friday none of them would have done what Lewis did.

An epic race but not a particularly good one for my heart. Too many emotional ups and downs.

I still think the incident involving Max that went unpunished will surface again for this weekend. His on-board footage wasn't available at the time but its since been requested.

If the video shows he deliberately pushed Lewis wide, he will no doubt face a 3 place grid penalty .

Bring on the weekend. COME ON LEWIS!!!!!!

He really doesn’t get the respect he deserves, the man is about to accomplish something no one else has done before.

Did we think Schumacher would ever been beaten in championships or race wins? I certainly didn’t.

Sheer dominance year-on-year.

Plus that 10th to 1st at the weekend…

I'm just loving that this season could go to the last race.

Whoever becomes WDC, this is the season we've waited so long for.

Cant believe the onboard wasn't available. How convenient. I doubt the fia will do anything retrospective as they love max.

Should have said # “team anyone that isn’t Hamilton” lol!

It’s getting boring now, coming from a motocross family where actual racing is encouraged… if you can’t actively defend a position you might aswell just pull over and let them passed… BORING ! Ha x

Historically, I have not been a Lewis fan but yesterday he was on fire. Truly a man on a mission. Impressive.

The delayed footage may actually play into Hamiltons favour. Had it been available on Sunday and a 5 sec pen added to Max time, he would have finished 3rd.

A 3 or 5 place grid drop this weekend may put him amongst some other challenging cars that won't make it easy for him.

Never said it was just the car. I just mean when it comes to the fact mercedes and red bull are about the only teams that can afford this then its an issue. Why would the back markers continue to invest in F1 when the top constructors can pop a new engine in every race and pass them like they are nothing? In fact why would the mid field pack continue? They are some years off catching them and if they dont succeed to some degree their income will diminish. With diminishing income how will they afford to keep on top of the engine changes the top teams will use to gain a massive advantage? Seems like a worrying thing in this regard would you not agree?

Sure I'm all for rewarding the best car but there's a point where you have to say this is counter intuitive to the guidelines FIA set out.

It's the same in almost every team sport, those at the top will have a better team and funds to keep improving so that they can win. Teams like Hass have nothing to gain from changing their power unit before it has done the mandatory 6 races as they're not fighting for the championship. I know what you mean but all teams can't be equal in any sport and hopefully with the new regulations next year we'll see a change and other teams challenging

Yup, Max is a fast as fuck driver but a terrible racer. A bit like Hill and Schumacher, Hill was fast, but fell so far short of Schumacher in race craft it wasn’t true.

Max can’t race, only drives fast. Anyone who gets a black and white flag for weaving after already pushing Lewis into Argentina and responds with a laugh and “tell them I said Hi” like he’s proud of being reprimanded is not a worthy world champion elect

Yes max can race tottaly agree like you say black n white flag at this time in he's career is not good it will come for max 1 day he just needs to chill out and be more in the zone when it comes down to the nitty and gritty ,he has shown in previous races he has got it but like last season he kind of loses what he's learnt

A dramatic weekend and Lewis was absolutely savage!!

This season has been fantastic; I’m Team LH but whether it comes down to him or Max in the end, whoever gets the WDC will have truly earned it.
