For those who enjoy ironing (weirdly enough I do!), don't you feel immense satisfaction whittling down that huge pile to nothing? Just did mine and feel ready for a tea break.
Anyone else derive satisfaction from a domestic chore well done?

Ironing, uuurgh, I absolutely hate it. I barely iron anything, only stuff that is necessary such as dress shirts.
Housework full stop is a chore. I would much rather be outside doing jobs. |

I hate ironing and if have a pile to do I always seem to end up with a blister
I do enjoy spring cleaning the kitchen though, about four times a year. Every cupboard & crevice is emptied, washed, contents reviewed and put back or discarded. |

I hate ironing but a few weeks ago I defrosted my freezer and I can't begin to explain just how satisfying it was seeing massive lumps of ice falling away and being able to scrub the shelves afterwards.
It was a disgrace and it's now a thing of beauty. |

Totally with you on this one. I have a huge SONOS speaker next to my ironing board...the subtle satisfaction when it's all done. It's quite cathartic. |

I’ve been baking with my son today for a school charity baking event tomorrow. I love cooking and I cope well under the pressure.
I actually don’t mind most cleaning jobs to be honest. C went away for a few days recently and I done all her ironing. A big pile of it…she was amazed when she come back!

Not sure it qualifies as a domestic chore - but I do enjoy my walks with the dog. Just me and him trekking through the woods - perfick! |

I hate ironing and aim for a wardrobe that doesn't need anything ironing.
In fact I dislike all domestic tasks.
Though I did get a lot of satisfaction from sorting the kitchen food cupboards a couple of weeks ago

I don't like the thought of ironing, but once I get going it's not so bad.
I get great satisfaction from decorating, or gardening. Not sure those are chores though |

I’m very domesticated and house proud, so pretty much all the chores give me great satisfaction. Did a sparkling job on the bath this week! |

"Ironing used to a Sunday evening in front of the telly job. I only really iron white cotton shirts now.
When I get all the filing and clearing done in my office, I like the shredding."
I love feeding the shredder at the office |

I love cleaning my cooker top so it looks new after every meal.
The glass splash back annoys me a bit trying to get it smear free though.
My fave job at the Mo is riding my lawnmower with the blades switched off but the sweeper box collecting leaves. It lifts every single one in a path behind me. |

Pulling on the hair from the shower plug. I love it when you give a tug, and pull more out. The bigger the clump, the better.
Such grim satisfaction to be had
Most mundane chores, however, I outsource where possible. I’ve never cut my own grass, as the boredom would kill me stone dead. |

I love to pretend I'm working for Enron in its final days when I'm shredding, hastily destroying the evidence before the feds arrive. |
