A man was complaining bitterly that the people at the one he attended were too interested in drinking and cheering at the clock striking bit. He was expecting to as he put it 'to be balls deep', not drinking and cheering. He felt he could have done that in a pub  |

Club Play in Blackpool I had a great NYE in there a few years ago. As a holiday resort in winter hotels shouldn’t be too much of a problem either. But the year I was there it was open most of the night anyway.

It wasn't his fault, the night just didn't match his expectations. Like he said, he could drink and cheer to buddies in a pub, he thought he could celebrate bringing in the new year having sex  |
