Morning Slutesss, so, let’s talk about that weird condition some people might suffer of seeing their men doing something completely normal and then suddenly u get a bad case of the ICK!
It can be totally childish and not rational but it is damn real
So, what gives you the ick? And do you feel like you can get over it and move on or is it a total deal breaker that eventually will make you friendzone him?
These are some examples of things that have given me the BAD ICKS but I realise it is case to case basis rather than the act itself sometimes.
- When you realise the guy you like can’t freaking eat properly and chews like a 3 year old. I just can’t deal with that and it drives me insane..
- Guys who are overly affectionate, I love guys who can be affectionate … but I’ve seen some who just are so NEEDY. They give me the ick. Like badly. U know when they even change their voice and go high pitched cos they think it’s fucking cute? Like they are talking to a puppy… GROSS! Get away
- Guys with bad shoes . Tatty ones, also Particularly against brown, u know them derby shoes. Omg ICK.
Also, going to their place and realising they are wearing crocs. BIGGEST ICK! Can’t unsee that!
- Guys who call their mum … Mummy … how old are you again??!!! Why? LITTLE SIR, GET AWAY FROM ME!!!
Also guys who call their mums by their first names. I know a few
cringe
Over to you girls!! X |

"Never really thought about it and what’s wrong with brown
I have a lovely pair off adidas amsterdams in rust brown highly sought after and clectble"
I don’t mind brown trainers.
It’s just the brown DERBY shoe (particularly some shades of brown - like very dark brown is fine) that gives me the ICK and I can’t explain. |

Neediness generally gives me the ick. A guy who doesn’t have the self-respect to walk away when I’ve told him (gently and kindly) that it’s not working, and pesters me for friendship. I generally end up giving in, cos I’m nice that way, which further increases the ickiness |

I would assume not, if you're not into them.
"
In that case, anyone that treats people that are working a service job badly. Like a waiter or someone on tills at a shop, or a bus/taxi driver
I was taught early on that a good judge of character is how you treat people you don’t need to treat nicely. Namely because that are working |

That doesn’t even give me the ick.
I’m quite self aware (or absorbed some may say) but anything I wouldn’t do myself it something I would feel embarrassed about doing myself, if that’s presented to me by another person. Like there’s one particular guy in my village who’s quite hot and I drone passed him the other day whilst he was picking up his dog poop and I thought eew that’s embarrassing, and that’s purely because I’d feel embarrassed if someone saw me picking up poop. I’m weird like that! |

For me there's lots of ways a person can make me dislike them racism, rudeness, arrogance etc but precious little makes me feel "ick"
This is because in my mind I associate the "ick" response with trivial and inconsequential things (like the colour of someone's shoes) and find the idea that for some a person's attractiveness or (worse still) their worth, is based on stuff so trivial quite depressing.
There a few answers on here I totally get - rudeness to wait staff etc. Most of the rest just make me shake my head in disbelief than anyone can be so petty

Haha omg I found a guy on Pof in 2011 he was 5 years older than me but didn’t drive or have a licence. Didn’t have a job and was on JSA and lived in his parents attic. But he was handsome and his sense of humour was off the charts. So funny, so dark and intelligent! |

Yes ick is totally trivial.
Of course if someone is rude to staff, they are awful people and of course that’s a turn off!! Why would anybody be with an arsehole??
Icks are very trivial. Also I wanna mention, some are on guy to guy basis rather than universal. Other icks are universal across the board. |

Brain so SAYS NO! Then again, I experienced having to bear a friend’s dad car ride of him throwing all the absolute worst dad jokes , on a regular basis!!

That's the closest I'll admit to an ick - though in reality its less an ick more a massive red flag with a screaming klaxon - when people say "I can't" even what they mean is "I won't".

"When they obnoxiously burp, I just can't.
Once you get that ick, you don't want that dick.
Hahahahahaha actually the best quote of 2021"

Away with the faeries |
"Has anyone ever met a person who has never once given them this feeling?
Previous partners may have done the very same thing(s), giving you the ICK, but this person has yet to deliver?
Yet to deliver, in what way? "
I think it's quite rare to find someone who doesn't have at least one thing about them that icks. |

I went on a date recently. Guy was nice, though I didn’t overly fancy him. At the end, when we went to leave the pub, he unrolled his coat which had been placed on a stool. It was a big mad black thing, that went all the way down to his feet!
It was with some dismay that I realised the ick had been given |
