Im waiting for my mince meat to defrost so i can make some beef burgers. My body clock got absolutely totalled so my dinner is gonna be around 4am

Havent decided what sauces to use though, i was thinking of making a homemade spicy bbq sauce with some tennessee whiskey hot sauce, but then i saw the mustard and thought id go for a classic mustard and ketchup.

Go with the spicy bbq! Chuck some paprika on the chips as well (or in the burgers)

"Go with the spicy bbq! Chuck some paprika on the chips as well (or in the burgers) "

Annoyingly i didn't think to grab chips when i went food shopping earlier in the day. So its just seeing how many burgers i can make out of the mince that was left in the bag

Cant weigh the mince either cos i dont have any scales, but im a great cook anyway so i mostly just go by what works and experiment a little. Gonna throw in some garlic (havent decided whether to use powder or dice up some cloves), some paprika and see how coriander goes with the beef. Gonna be using spinach leaves for the burgers too rather than lettuce

Sounded a good plan other than spinach leaves- too much chew rather than crunch if raw and soggy if cooked.

Id use garlic powder or fry the chopped garlic first as will more boil than fry if in the burger. I'd be tempted to go with a touch of fresh chilli in there too

I subbed lettuce for spinach for a lot of stuff mostly for the nutritional value to go with my workout and diet

And if i were to use chillis id actually make my homemade salsa for the burgers and go more mexican style with fried peppers and paprika french fries

If possible, I’d like to continue this thought:

I’m actually really curious when same sex romance became frowned upon in Europe. Ancient Rome and Greece were full of same sex romance and every country tried their best to emulate them after their collapse.

Of course it's possible. It's a very interesting point you've made. My first thought was, religion. But I don't think that would have been it.

At the risk of being burned at the stake, I’d be very interested to actually learn more about Jesus and the disciples travels throughout Rome. A fair amount of the non Jewish members of the empire might have been homosexual and so might some of the disciples, before meeting Jesus.

I don't think you'll get burned at the stake. Not by me anyway. So it could be religion? Maybe I'm not off, I don't know. Like you say the Romans gave us much, and we kept. Why not the fun stuff.

As usual, I’d blame the Catholic Church. We’ll never know how many texts they altered to suit their political goals for Europe. Honestly, it would be hilarious if there’s a book about a gay disciple in the Vatican Archives.

It always amazed me how much attention she gets in the media, despite being a horrible figurehead for the movement of saving the planet.

To begin, I haven’t even seen her comment on the real source of our global warming troubles, big corporations and China + India in particular.

I'm not surprised. I think a lot of people don't like to hear the thoughts of a woman so young. Those people don't want to think she could be right. Don't want to change the way they live.
