Is wrong of me to only want to meet fit/muscular guy's and fit toned women, l know it narrows down the chance of meeting anyone but single guys find it hard meet anyone anyway.

No point in meeting someone with a body type you don’t find appealing. We all have our preferences.

We all have preferences so I’d say no, nothing wrong with it.

There’s a theory that in some quarters that these notional ‘bars’ get set a little lower over time though.

Not wrong at all….why would you put effort in here for something (or someone) you weren’t interested in?

If anything you’re ‘doing it better’ for everyone concerned by being that specific.

Yes it’s absolutely wrong because you’re listed as straight and unless you’re looking for fit muscular guys to help you carry some breeze blocks you should change your sexual orientation to bi.

You can like anything and anyone you want just be open about your sexuality or explain the context that you want these fit muscular guys.

I only want guys with big hearts even though mine is teeny tiny like the grinch. Legit watched my sister cry at a donkey abuse advert and I told her to grow up.

Why is everyone assuming that muscular and toned people are automatically more attractive and unattainable than people with average bodies or who are overweight? Personally I’m not attracted to a muscular and toned body at all, neither male or female, and I don’t really know many people who are. I think a natural and curvy body is way sexier than a muscular one.

I see nothing wrong with that at all, it’s your profile! Its not offensive, just clearly what floats your boat, so why not be honest about it! Lots of women’s profiles have it on about men, so what’s the difference? Good luck to you. Miss pc

"I was expecting to see a six pack.

Can you imagine some overweight woman saying she wants to meet gym guys and a guy saying I was expecting you to be slim? There would be bloody murder.

The attitude of some guys they should be lucky anyone wants to meet them. I’ll not lose any sleep over the guys that only want the attractive gym bunnies

A come on there is no need for that why do some people on here have to try and start an argument all I have done is to put a question on here about my type of person

You haven’t done anything wrong. If it was a woman saying she only wanted fit muscular guys everyone would be like yas queen, you go girl. Nobody would say hmm well actually love you look like a fucking fat buzzard and would have to hang a steak round your neck to get a dog to sniff you.

So if I put on my profile I'm only interested in fit/muscular guy's and fit toned women it would be ok

You can put whatever you want buddy.

You can put you only meet women that are 5’3 135lbs with blue eyes and HH tits. It’s all you

Aww I’m 5’3 132lbs with blue eyes but DD boobs.

He can put whatever he wants but needs to know his audience. I’d state the preference for the gym fit men part but not the women. That’s just my opinion.

Why not the women"

You can, obviously you can it’s your profile but there’s less women on here than men and even less women that are gym fit or women who would describe themselves as gym fit. I wouldn’t describe myself as gym fit I say I’m curvy. You could find that you have a woman that’s the same shape as me and she’s interested and then see you only want gym fit women so she doesn’t bother. I wouldn’t contact a guy if he specifically stated he wanted gym fit because I don’t feel I fit that description.

Why would you meet anyone you didn't want to? We are all allowed to fancy who we like, only the insecure have a problem with other people's preferences

Thats true actually it's not that the women are not fit or tonned but wouldn’t necessarily describe themselves in that way.

I’m sure that when OP sees that by stating he only wants gym fit women he’s putting beautiful women like you off contacting him then he’ll change his profile straight away.

Just out of interest, you say you don’t think you’re gym fit so if someone contacted you who’s profile says they are only looking for gym fit women would you reply if you really liked everything else about his profile and seemed to be suited in every other way?

It’s interesting that you don’t think you’re gym fit but earlier OP said he thinks you look fit, is it just that you and OP have a different opinion of what gym fit looks like?

That can be the problem though because lots of people have different ideas about what a specific body type looks like if that makes sense. So what's curvy to you might be BBW to me.

To me gym fit means muscle definition, I don’t have any definition anymore because I don’t train. I eat badly 80% of the time and have vascular fat around my mid section. Only reason I’m not massive is because I walk around 36 thousand steps each shift in work.

Yeah, exactly, we don’t all see things in exactly the same way. Like if you got 10 different people to describe a person or an event they wouldn’t all describe them in exactly the same way, you’d probably end up with 10 quite different descriptions.

It’s funny as well that OP has stated he only wants to meet gym toned women and I’ve stated that I’m not attracted to gym toned women but OP said he thinks Annie Wilkes looks fit (which I’m assuming means he’s attracted to her) and I also think she looks amazing and I’m attracted to her. However, and I hope she doesn’t mind me saying this, I wouldn’t describe her as gym toned so I wouldn’t have thought OP would be attracted to her.

But he’s stated that he only wants to meet gym toned women but he’s said he’s attracted to you even though, as you admit yourself, you aren’t gym toned. So, either OP thinks you look gym toned and therefore you match his requirements for the women he will only meet which means his interpretation of a gym toned woman is different to ours or he isn’t being completely accurate when he states he only wants to meet gym toned women if he recognises that you aren’t gym toned but is still attracted to you.

I would rather someone be honest about their type and only agree to meet that type, than say yes to those they're not attracted to at all just to get laid. I know people who would say yes to whomever, just to get some sex and I don't like that trait at all.

I've met women on here and either their pics have been at angle that doesn't truly show their shape despite their own description in their profile, or when we've met "curvy" turns out to be "fabulous"

And Sometimes It's down to their own perception of themselves.

luckily with a variety of body shapes, we've both enjoyed the meet and had then some cheeky fun, as part of the attraction is a sense of humour, for me anyway.

It's fine, good luck to you.

Mrs is a bigger lass and she likes thinner guys (good job, really) and he's thin and likes big women.

We like what we like - as long as you're not horrible about it if someone non-gym-fit contacted you, or you put something horrible in your profile - not sure why anyone would have an issue with it

No of course it’s not wrong of you because preference is key to any chemistry but it’s just lucky that you are also fit toned and muscular so everyone is a winner.

You want gym fit women yet you aren't offering that of yourself?

So, they bust a gut every day in the gym while relax with your feet up?

They put in all the effort and you put in none kinda deal? Lol.

Because some people just want sex and don't care who it's with. I've had someone tell me "I'm a guy. I'm not going to say no if it's on offer". Thankfully, others have told me the opposite "I might be a guy, but I'm not going with just anyone".

Well it does sound a bit strange because u say u only wanna meet fit muscular guys and fit women but in yr own profile u describe yrself as average. So u could ask yrself why would someone that's fit/ muscular/toned wanna meet someone that says they're average? It's not wrong either way as everyone has preferences so why do u think it's wrong? It's been said before, but warrants repeating: why do you assume that "fit/muscular/toned" folk only want to meet similar body types? From my FAB experience, this is definitely not true (thank god!) Us chunkier folk can still do the sex thing without ending up in an ambulance

True and totally agree with what yr saying everyone has a type and choice. We all like and want diff things. What I don't understand is why he is asking is if its wrong.

Just sounded like he needed validation over his own choices/preferences and wanted to know why someone said he had a high regard of himself. Basically I don't think anyone's bothered what kinda "types" he goes for. Are u concerned about his preferences?

Once again if this had been reversed and a female had posted this and people had made similar comments all hell would have broken loose.

Actually indirectly the OP has done a bit of his own shaming by highlighting is interest only lies with muscular/fit/toned. Thereby, suggesting other body shapes aren't good enough.

Nope, he's stating a preference. You're the one that body shamed him by implying he shouldn't be staying a preference fit/toned when he described himself as average.

"

You forgot to mention I also asked why he thinks what he likes is wrong and why does he need validation from people regarding his own preferences. Which I added there's no right or wrong- u like what u like.

I didn't forget to mention it as it wasn't relevant to the point I was replying to, where you accused someone of body shaming. Of course there is no right or wrong to what we find aesthetically pleasing. But if you make assumptions that aren't already in play, folk have the right to correct/challenge you.

And why I challenged you, as the concensus of the thread was that he wasn't body shaming, yet you accused him.

I've had my say now though. Anything more & I'll be in trouble with the mods

Seems to me like you’re being a bit catty and making an issue out of something that’s totally a non issue. You’re pulling allegations out of thin air so if this is how you roll I’m gonna say you’re being argumentative because gay men have issues with bi men.

Haha and yr being very judgemental and stereotypical about a gay man but that's yr choice and I've no interest in trying to make u feel any diff. But I find it funny u know or think u know, as a woman what gay men think bout bi men. U ave no idea what I think because by saying u do means u know the person I am and the truth is u don't and u'd rather just judge me on that subject. Feel free but being so judgemental surely is equally as bad as body shaming someone so I'll leave it at that.

So if I put on my profile I'm only interested in fit/muscular guy's and fit toned women it would be ok"
