I went and purchased a box of chocolates for the checkout guy who served me at the supermarket this evening. He’d had a really shitty day (when I asked how he was), and yet, was still so cheerful to me, and the people in front of my in the queue. |

That's lovely. I know that would have been much appreciated. So many customers treat supermarket staff badly. (A family member was shouted at today because the shop has Christmas stuff on sale and the customer felt it was disrespectful to have have any Christmas displays this Remembrance Sunday weekend.) |
