The anarchy. Fascinating time and part of the reason I'd like to visit Lincoln.

I do also have a fascination with the massive and sweeping social changes forced by the black death in the late middle ages.

Well, I used to do Wars of the Roses re-enactment so I'd have to say that really!

I liked the beginning of the middle, definitely not the middle of the middle but the end of the middle wasn't so bad.

Well I can walk around naked in the house now kids left and can have a drink when I want not sure it's a plus for middle age though ??
