They would put it in a 3ft x 2ft box and rolls and rolls of paper. Some bags of air for good measure.

"All joking aside they have always put stuff like that rather in a flat cardboard sleeve or an envelope "

Either way, you'd still end up subscribing to Amazon Prime somehow.

Depends how big the comb was. If it was your average flat small comb it would go in an A1 cardboard envelope, if it was longer it would go in a A3 flat cardboard envelope. If it was chunky it would go in a C1 box.

The computer screen tells you what to pack it in based on the weight and dimensions of the product. *Sometimes* it gueses things wrong and the person doesn’t use their own initiative and put it in a smaller box but everything is recyclable anyway so pointless moaning.

I have indeed. That’s why I always spray my stuff with antibacterial spray after I’ve opened the packaging. Your item is handled by soo many people. First it comes in and scanned onto the system then someone else will put it wherever it’s gonna be stored then it will be picked by someone else then packed by someone else. Sorted by someone else, shipped by someone else, received by someone else, sorted again by someone else, then to your delivery person. Seen people picking their nose, scratching their arse and that’s just me!

It was absolutely terrible the amount of packaging they used. They seem to be or want to be seen to be reducing this now.
