Hi all
Just finishing up a lovely week in fuerteventura and although we had a fantastic time and went to the dunes where all the fun is supposed to happen, we couldn’t tell who was there for the sunshine and who was there for extras. We had fun with jsut the two of us but weren’t sure how to approach others? |

Before I go away anywhere I buy a new pay as you go SIM card to put in my old phone and I print off a load of little flyers (about the size of a beer mat) with my details and temporary phone number on and then I subtly leave them in bars, restaurants, shops etc and wait to see if anyone contacts me. Last time I went on holiday I went alone and on the second day a couple contacted me after seeing my flyer and I ended up spending the rest of the my 10 days stay with them. They were a fair bit older than me but still a lot of fun. We spent all day on the beach together, then went out for a meal and drinks and then back to one of our hotel rooms. |
