Just tried to call my local hospitals help line to make an appointment but all I got was an automated msg to say they couldn't help me!

Have you had any experiences recently with unhelpful help lines?

I hate that you for most things you are listening to an automated voice for at least 4 minutes before you are even put on hold.

My energy provider.

Can’t get through via phone, so they advise you to go online to chat there. The chat is busy so they advise you to do a WhatsApp chat. The WhatsApp chat tells you to give them a call.

It’s a vicious circle.

North West

The doctors

The hospital

Frankly any type of call centre

I got a letter yesterday for my second post-surgery check, which is nearly a year overdue but it's at exactly the same time as a pain clinic appointment. I had to fill in an online form to rearrange the pain clinic because the phones just disconnected. I have no idea if the form will achieve anything though! Urgh

I'm sure they do that on purpose so people hang up!

Dr Martens’ customer service was awful. However, after 8 months I managed to get a full refund and to keep the faulty boots I’d bought. So not too bad in the end.

I rang an "advice line" when I asked questions the person on the other end said " I'm sorry, I can't give advice".

I was momentarily speechless.
