"I'm lucky if i get 5 hours sleep, even that is interupted sleep. I feel tired all the time "
I was diagnosed with sleep apnea a couple of years back, didn't wish to go down a positive pressure mask so I've been retraining myself to sleep on my side. Sleeps better but now my arm goes dead |

I had a very early night on Tuesday (9pm) and woke up at 6 feeling great, but that is very very rare for me.
Usually get 6-7 hours, but always wish I could have more. |

"I used to survive on around 3-4 hours broken sleep when I had babies in our bed.
I need at least 7 hours undisturbed now."
My sleep problems started when i had babies, so little sleep and always broken !! Now it's pain usually plus my brain being unable to switch off |

Never get 8 hours, don’t have trouble sleeping, just always end up going to bed too late and have to be up early for work, don’t sleep in on a weekend either because body clock! Probably average at 6 hours sometimes more but mostly less! |

Usually I have 4-5 hours sleep but if my insomnia kicks off I can be awake for 3 days back to back and then feel physically and mentally exhausted.
It doesn't seem to happen as much now but still get bouts once in a while. |

I probably got more sleep than most mums because I just had to flop a boob out. They still enjoy sneaking into bed so there's arms and legs everywhere.
I can't switch off at night, I hate trying to fall asleep because it takes ages. |

I have chronic fatigue syndrome. I can sleep for several days at time waking only for food and the bathroom trips.
But when I function more normally I need a good 7 to 8 and may still nap 1 or more times in a day. Ive done much better for while though I seem to be getting worse again. |

My sleep apnoea was so bad I had no choice. I was the worst case my hospital had ever seen. Wouldn’t be without my cpap!! Keeps me alive & driving - without it I’d lose my licence

It used to be 7 hours and I'm good, now I'll take what i can get but 3 hours like the other night or morning as it was really doesn't cut it.
I miss sleep, slightly unsure what it really is at the moment even though i am exhausted every day |

I’d love 8 hours… lucky if I get 4 or 5… I think it’s because I switch from day to night work, so my body never knows where it is. When I’m on nights it’s worse… I usually only sleep 2/3 hours a day… and we do 7 nights on.. |

If I let my body do what it wants, I became nocturnal and sleep for about 9-10hrs. However, I generally function on between 5-7hrs on weeknights and then Mr KC lets me have a lie in at the weekend to try and catch up. I wish people wouldn't assume nocturnal people are lazy - I spend my whole life fighting my body clock |
