How often have you gone to type a reply in the forums and thought ‘you know what, I can’t be arsed with the agro’
Also do you do it in real life? Or do you speak your mind all the time? |

Just want an easy life like me, I’d rather spend my time & energy on something worth it haha |

I post around a tenth of the posts I start to type!
I'm not like that in real life but I think it's easier to have a conversation in real life, especially on contentious issues, without it escalating as quickly as it does on here.

All the time. I think it's because I just don't see the point in engaging in online arguments. I'd much rather have a debate in person. |

It depends who is involved in the thread. On the rare occasions that it's someone who is actually capable of discussion rather than being "offended" by every differing opinion then I like to join in...most of the time I'll just keep scrolling. |

Fairly often but then I stop and think, what's the point? Maybe I'm in a bad mood and want to lash out? Maybe they're having a crap time and I'll add to that. Who would it actually benefit? Absolutely no-one.
And then I feel virtuous for being being so saintly and wonderful. |

The cock sucking(not that kind..) /lampost pissing is amusing /irritating in equal measure.
Being practically universally ignored is almost okay, but when you get someone being stuck up their own arse you for no reason (like today)then the danger is you'll feel the compulsion to bite back.
And that compulsion to bite pathological attention seekers is dangerously strong..

Yeah, online just can't be arsed. The amount of people who only skim read and just put into a post what they want it to be  and literally misread the entire context of a few sentences because they're not reading what's right in front of them.
No wonder teachers spend all their life saying "READ the question" |

It’s not so much the aggro it’s more what’s the point it never gets replied to.I know it’s not personal but just think what’s the point sometimes. (I’d also see the irony and humour if I post this and it doesn’t get a reply) |

I suppose if you know they are an idiot and you can't talk sense into them then it isn't worth the hassle. But I pretty much always speak my mind if I need to and whatever reaction might come back from that doesn't really bother me. |

I have done this so many times, at least three times today.
I can get very angry over some posts, then I realise it doesn’t matter. So I try to only post on fun topics these days ….But if I’ve had a drink I can get a bit …  |

I’m the short time I’ve been here, I’ve already learnt it’s better to keep ones opinions in ones head sometimes. Much the same as out in the muggle world too. |

It does tend to be a core of regular posters that reply, respond and flirt with each other so most times not worth the bother.
The core changes over time as people come and go but unless you've got the time or sex appeal that appeals to the masses, breaking into it is too much like hard work. |

Very often! I want to challenge opinions so start a reply, and then I think "do I really want to spend time going back and forth with a stranger on the internet about a topic I don't really care about?" And surprisingly the answer is almost always No |

This is exactly it for me. I write it out to get it out of my head but before I click “send” I figure I can’t be bothered as you know it won’t change anything and you’ll just get sucked into an argument with a random internet person |
