John Terry has retired from the England squad, to concentrate on his club and fucking other peoples wives while they're away on International duty.

Only because of the uproar it will cause. I hope the FA bring him down like Suarez. No protecting our own. There meant to be footballers, not racists! If it was a player from my supoorted club, id feel the same way..

A deeply unplesant man. No class and no dignity to the very end.

He claims that he's already be cleared in court - though surely his immoral lawyer has explained the difference 'beyond reasonable doubt' and 'balance of probability'.

Let's hope he gets a lengthy ban. Suarez got 8 games with one persons word against another. Terry was caught on camera, clear as can be. Surely 8 games is the absolute minimum he can expect.

Rant over.

If it was as clear as day, why didnt the courts convict him?

Because footballers are above the law. Didn't you get the memo?

You want to tell Ched Evens, Tony Adams, Joey Barton, George Best,Terry Fenwick, Lee Hughes, Marlon King, Gavin Grant, Jan Mølby, Jermaine Pennant, Luke Rodgers, Graham Rix, Vinnie Jones, Mark Ward, Dennis Wise, Mickey Thomas, Micky Quinn and Peter Storey but to name a few.

Now there's a surprise. I predicted he would 'retire' before the hearing, or maybe he was told to retire before undergoing the ignobility of being kicked out of the England team (for the THIRD time).

Whatever, it really has made my day that I'll never see the arrogant wanker in an England shirt again.

What I find interesting is most of those charges where pre-premier league boom.

and Joey Barton (a repeat offender) is happily playing football for Olympic de Marseille on a season-long loan from QPR.

Yeah, footballers get charged and some do time but many walk back into work with no problems while others (along with many who live in the real world)have to fill that "awkward bit" at the bottom of job applications.

There is comfort though. A hearts player was found guilty of sex charges against two girls aged 12 and 14. He was fined and placed on the sex offenders' register. Needless to say, the club sacked him straight but in some cases, clubs very forgiving. Particularly if the player is of high value and ability.
