Well I got one as I changed my phone recently and got it... however finding the battery usage dire.

As in just took it off full charge and even with the battery saver mode on.. its saying 15hr usage left...

Is this normal?

As It says up to 40hrs on the samsung site. My daughters getting 3 days out of her apple watch and I used to get 3 days out of my precious smartwatch

Its brand new so maybe needs a few battery cycles to charge better but at the moment. It's barely fit for purpose as have to charge it midway through the day

Get in contact with Samsung as that is not normal. I've got an older version and battery life is still a lot better than that. Normally about a day and a half

8 hours is not great but it also depends on what is using up the battery life. Is this the Bluetooth version or LTE? Do you get a large number of notifications on it? Where do you have the brightness turned to? What have you set for your screen timeout setting?

I have the bluetooth version and get two days normal use out of mine. I have sleep tracking active, which aside from the display is my largest power usage.

Usage since last full charge

1 d 10 h used

Display 3.9%

Samsung health 1.5%

One UI watch home 1 2%

Health services 0.9%

Watch faces 0.7%

I have the display brightness on auto, and raise wrist to turn on set.

If any of that helps.

Its just the latest one.

It's set got auto brightness set.

Not getting a vast amount of notifications.

Screen is set to only turn on if I tap it.

15 sec screen time out

With those settings you should definitely be getting longer. I second getting Samsung to take a look at it.

I have the larger classic, while it does have a larger battery, I get a fair number of notifications, use it for sleep tracking and activity tracking when working out, and have the always on display on. It typically lasts me a day or just under with that heavy usage.

Good luck in getting it sorted out. Got to say I find it the best smart watch for Android.
