made me promise my friend to go out for a run again first thing in the morning (now that would be about 6.30!) - what have you promised in a moment of madness and ended up regretting?;-)

Doing a charity climb in the Lakes in Nov - nearly 4000' and 16 miles in 8 hours!

Bareback, once, when I got carried away. Never, never, ever again.

I got away with it, luckily, but I think I was very stupid.

Lol looking at the posts above - I said "I do" once and it did not work out beyond 19 years but hey... I have great kids.

As for charity promises... I can see how you can get roped into those things and then cant get out. London Marathon is one of those...

Thanks. I do try to learn from my mistakes and not repeat them too, so it was a learning experience.

Ive had so many i cant even think, i guess sitting under a tree when someone throws a petrol can thats on fire wasnt the best of ideas. Plugging a plug into a socket without the back on then holding the prongs in place with your finger was another of my not so bright ideas. Its a wonder im still here

Agreeing to carry a fridge up a mountain as a publicity stunt... not too bad you think? Four, maybe five guys, taking it in turns two by two.... no sweat, sounds relatively easy right?

Guess again, it aint as part of a team, its ON MY OWN FFS!!!!

Sounded easy in the bar... sure, I've got strong legs, I can do that!.... Jeez.... just goes to show, beer, stupid ideas and a gullible idiot just don't mix!

Just praying they don't figure out how to strap it to my back, otherwise the idea is going to happen.

So 30 half marathons with a fridge on your back would be too much?

But for a publicity stunt?

Jeez mun woman mun... you aren't getting it, are you?

I'd rather not shlep up a bloody mountain, (big bump in the earth that goes up, steeply... a lot!) with a fridge (big square white chunk of chilly machine!) weighing about the same as me (strapping 16 stone of hunky man-ness!) strapped to my back.... if you throw the "charidee" thing in I'll have no choice!

I dunno, some people!
