Ours went on properly on Friday... it'll be staying on unless we get a warm spell now, and I really can't see that happening in a hurry...

Ours was on when I woke up this morning (not by me I hasten to add!) Soon went off and i'm calling it "testing"

Door curtain went up at the front door and back door curtain pulled. Window curtains and blinds pulled at dusk and a few candles lit. That's it for us for a bit longer - I refuse to put more money in the gas companies pockets than is necessary.

A young uni student friend told me that onesies are the way to go at the moment. He suggested I get an animal one.

Our big plasma telly keeps the front room tolerable and in bed there's the duvet (and each other) to keep things toastie warm. The bathroom is another story ... getting out of the shower first thing in the morning is nothing short of torture!

Hoping to hold out on the heating for another couple of weeks though.

Animal sounds good. I think if I ever put one on I'd look like some sort of strange Ewok, regardless of the animal outfit.

There are those that think I don't need an outfit to get that Ewok look.

Bloody awful weather here today, lashing down and cold

(The ex is doing the school run today )

On the plus side I managed to sand and oil the garden table yesterday, and tucked it under it's winter cover - I can see the rain bouncing off it now
