I was thinking that maybe a "fabsingles" message board where single people can advertise themselves a bit more could be considered? I know there is a meet requests and parties message board but it's always rammed with couples profiles. Fab is predominantly a swinging site but maybe it could branch out a bit for casual dating purposes? Just a thought?  |

I agree with this ^^^ the search function while not perfect is functional and adequate. I am part of a couple yet we both have single profiles so where would we stand if we could only post in different forums? |

It wouldn't be a club, only a message board for singles. No attached people. For single guys and women who are looking for other non attached people casually. I know fab is a swingers site but it could make life a bit easier for singles only this way. Forum is much better for relaxed open conversation and for people to advertise themselves.
I've had a few "single" women message who have turned out to be not so single as soon as I mention I don't meet couples/attached women. No mention of the couple's/attached part in their bio. It's not in my "looking for" either. It's awkward. |

Exactly but there's no dedicated area of the forum for singles wanting to meet singles only.
I checked the the dating threads they're all over the place. It could be so much more streamlined. Just my opinion though |

You could start a singles meet thread to test the waters.
I don't think it would make a lot of difference to how things currently work though. It won't give single guys a better chance of getting a meet. |

Having a seperate singles board will not improve single guys chances one bit, single females as far as I can see rarely complain about lack of responses so we dont need a seperate board. The answer is so simple I can only think when guys have started a post with the 'why aren't I getting any responses' or 'I've been blocked...cry whinge...moan' they don't read any of the comments. I see the issue but I hope that most would be genuine. Could make the message board rules clear to try at least. There's plenty of site areas for attached singles/part couples to mingle.
I'll maybe try a test thread as Dan said ^^ see how it goes. |

There was a stat produced many years ago by fabmin that 1% of the site members posted in the forums (we see it with the threads mainly the same names) there are 'lurkers'(waves hello)..
Not sure how many extra singles will find the section or post

Would a dating option alongside the usual looking for a male / female / couple options answer this, anyone interested in casual dating would have access to like minded people through the search function.
If that was implemented meet requests could show or cater for dating, that would be a chance to advertise yourself through the meet Ad |

That’s because dating on fab is still considered a dirty word by many.
Feel free to start your own threads if you’d like!
I doubt that a singles section would be helpful though, it would just divide people even more and I like to meet couples on occasion |

Dating apps cant't offer the same level of communication fab can without charging mega ££££. |
