I have the opposite emotions in Home Bargains and the like. I look at the mountain of cheap crap imported from China and wonder why the fuck we need all this stuff.

Oh, we don't over spend on stuff (mainly cos we're tight) but the sheer AMOUNT of stuff in these bargain stores - do we need it? On one small retail park near us, there's B&M Bargains, a Pound Shop, a cheap greeting card/gift shop and a local company that does much the same as B&M etc. The total amount of stuff is just bonkers! |
