It's pouring with rain outside but we're curled up on the sofa in front of a roaring wood fire, even the dog looks content and cozy!

Went for a run earlier and got home just as it started to rain! Now I am enjoying the warmth and comfort of my fire (Yep, I lit it today) and the smell of roast chicken - bad weather does have its comforts

Just changed the bedding and got the winter quilt out. Will have a lovely relaxing bath later and then crawl into lovely crisp clean sheets.

Sounds nice - no open fires here though...and the heating only ever goes on between November - March.
