Capt America: Civil War Thor Ragnorak Meh list = Ant Man, both films, Captain Marvel, GOTG2, Black Panther Haven't seen Shang Chi or Black Widow and not anxious to do so either although my stance has softened on Black Widow as I'm a fan of Florence Pugh so may give it a go soon. " Loved both films tbh. And Venom Let there be Carnage was much better than the 1st. Saw Eternals at the weekend and I loved it, though I can understand why people are slating it, but it was just an opener to who and what Eternals were about | |||

As an avid reader / collector of the comics - including the infinity gauntlet - I’ve been disappointed with how Hollywood has completed trashed the storylines and characters. The movies, whilst some have been fun to watch, are the worst adaptation of a ‘book’ that I’ve come across. Awful. | |||

Catch up if you haven't already, like I say the multiverse is exciting. | |||

"The Spider-Man movies and the Thor movie with Planet Hulk were the only ones I enjoyed. My main problem with marvel is that the movies are way too formulaic and they’re pretty much all the exact same look, style, feel and story line. There’s never any actual danger or risk. You just know at the end there’s gonna be some kind of blurry CGI fight scene and everything is going to be fine." Read the comics - million times better. Whilst they’re called comics - the depth of characters and quality of writing is clearly targeted at adults. | |||

"My favourite is Captain America The Winter Soldier. To me it blends a classic spy thriller with action/superhero film and has several of the stand out action sequences in any marvel film. It’s grittier than other marvel films but still keeps the comic book style without pandering to a dumbed down plot. I can watch it over and over. " it's my fav for same reasons, also the inclusion of Robert Redford which was a stroke of genius. | |||

"Avengers 2 age if Ultron is so much better now that endgame is done. If you haven’t, go rewatch it. That one is filled with so much foreshadowing. "I’ve really enjoyed the Marvel universe up to now. Iron Man Captain America Civil War Guardians 1 & 2 Thor Ragnarok All of the Avengers movies Those have been my faves, which I’d watch many times. I need to give the Tv shows a go, and see how I get on with them. I struggled after a couple of episodes of ‘Loki’. " Stick with Loki it gets better | |||

I'm loving phase 4 so far... All of it.
It has the potential to include some of the wonderfully batshit that occurs in the marvel universe (and to be fair with the multiverse and eternals (including the end credits scenes) it's certainly heading that way)
I don't know how I feel. It feels very lopsided. You have regular superheroes, mid tier superheroes and now god tier superheroes. You lose a sense of jeopardy with some of the more powerful superheroes. And at the same time, the less powerful characters feel redundant with weapon handling being their special gift. "I hate to admit it but I kinda don’t like hawk eye and black widow for that reason They’ve served a few roles, but realistically they just can’t join in when it comes to the newer stuff because they are just human. | |||

"I've tired of them and am definitely suffering from superhero fatigue. As far as I'm concerned the MCU ended with Endgame and I've moved on. I've not watched anything from phase 4 and it all looks mediocre and preachy. That being said the absolute best Marvel film in my opinion was The Winter Soldier. It was more mature and darker than most." I hear you but give phase 4 a chance you won’t be disappointed, well maybe with Eternals
