Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I confessed on another thread that I take a break to coincide with Escape to the Country.

Today's was a repeat, originally shown long before I developed this habit. They took a couple, with a tall man, to a house with really low beams. He had to duck three times just to change rooms.

Show them options but make them feasible!

Anyhoo, I stayed on and saw a very strange programme: Clean It, Fix It. That poor cleaner did more work than Tommy Walsh and the carpenter put together!

Oh Lickety, you've been drawn into the daytime reality shows.

You're a lost cause

Thank you.

I'll keep Escape to the Country but I won't risk leaving the telly on again.

Did she remain dead? I gave up the soaps in 2000 but noticed dead characters getting awards.

Not where we seem to be...

If you've put the kettle on around 10am, tune in to Anne & Nick.

I'm definitely confined to my desk at 10am. It's peak meetings time.

I have little daydreams when I see a location or house I like. Then I remember that I'd have to feed myself if I leave London.

The perfect property with a sea view might be enough to make me seriously want to up sticks.

I don't do Ramsey. He annoys me. Maybe I should watch him before late afternoon meetings that I don't want to attend?
