Pretty much sums it up. The children I work with tell me to stop. And even the non-verbal ones put their hands over their ears!!
My own kids aren’t much better. I said to middle child the other day ‘one day, you’ll think to yourself, I’d do anything to hear mum sing again.’
‘I really wont’, came the reply.
