He’s been on tv for 10 years if you mean Rob Beckett, hardly new breed.

Do you mean Josh Widdicome? He's hardly new. Try critiquing his comedy rather than his appearance

Did anyone see Rob Becketts d*unk insta stories during the world cup? I've not laughed that much in a long time.

Also the epic insta love story of Daisy May Cooper and the sea captain, so bloody funny.

Not the most convincing argument I have to say, man who’s name I’m not sure about is crap

Generally I’m a ‘nothing nice to say, then say nothing’ type, but if we must name names, then I don’t find Rosie Jones funny, and it’s nothing to do with her cerebral palsy, nor would I accuse tv of trying to be ‘woke’ or anything by having her on TV as much as she is, I just find her humour to be fairly obvious observational stuff anyone might write so on pure material I’m not a fan.

I’m kinda biased in the sense that like music of todays era is utter shite in comparison to the music from the great 1950’s to 90’s, same goes for comedy. Gone are the days when we had greats like: Dave Allen, Robin Williams, Laurel & Hardy, Morecambe and Wise, The Two Ronnies, Bernard Manning, etc.

Thanks for contributing even though I'm perhaps not as PC as you'd care for , a cross I must bear for the duration I fear .

Going decades back into first childhood memories I could never stand Steptoe and Son , so depressing ,a little like East Enders without the colour.

Indeed, he cannot be categorised with the likes of The Two Ronnies, Morecambe and Wise or Laurel and Hardy

...having said this, I do like Trevor Noah and Sacha Baron Cohen

I think Billy Connolly is funny and a nice man! He does interesting documentaries too.

I know he’s not new (sorry) but I cannot stand James Corden. He looks like an arrogant bastard, and has schoolboy bully written all over him.

I get a bad feeling about the guy.

I know someone whose job is booking comedy acts (Edinburgh festival, etc). Told me that the most lovely comedian to work with is Johnny Vegas, and the most horrible is Peter Kay.

I’ve been told Peter Kay - is not nice by trades, that have worked in his house-

Funny isn’t it, as it seems at odds with his TV persona.

He is playing a character that's not him really being himself. Apparently Lee is nothing like the character, I don't like Keith Lemon either. Haha

I know that but the character is so annoying as is Miranda Hart.

Too many to really mention, met Romesh Ranganathan (use to be a teacher at a school near Burgh Heath) quite rude & arrogant bloke. As for James Corden very overrated, real life butt licker, explains how he's got so far in America, they can keep him!

Michael Mcintyre bugs me, some of his observations around parenting are funny but his voice is grating and his whole show is just 8 really drawn out jokes!

I like Rob Beckett but his new show is dire.

I know he's comedy marmite but not many will ever make me laugh like Lee Evans does
