Almost a year ago my pride and joy bmw m4 gts stolen of my drive in the night id pretty much forgot about it.
This morning i received a unexpected call from the police to say they have recovered my car in birmingham being driven on false plates 
What unexpected surprise have you had recently?  |

"Hannah has just come back from being overseas and has decided o strip off completely. That doesn't usually happen unless she's having a shower or going to bed. It's a lovely surprise. "

My neighbor dropped me a little present off the other day as a thank you for taking her parcels in. Was completely unnecessary as I have no issue doing it but was a lovely little surprise that definitely made me smile. |

Well im glad theyve been caught although doubt they will get a conviction. I certainly dont want the car back.

Its wrapped gold, lowered and is a 'show car' i definitely dont want it back. They said it had been all over social media at shows with a green one that has now been confiscated and crushed (the green one was stolen too) |

Yeh insurance payed out last jan. If you search 'bmw m4 crushed' in google they said that the green one they confiscated was stolen and they crushed that and mine had been connected with the same group of lads from Birmingham, it was 'wrapped gold' and modified and driven under fake plates, they said it will be crushed. Just glad theyve been caught tbh its horrible knowing someone has invaded my safe place |

Yep, safe spaces are given so little respect. Doesn't matter if it's a house, a car, a workplace or an inbox, it feels like dirty shit when they're compromised and disrespected. |

Id put it up for sale and had someone supposed to meet me at my dads farm but didnt show. All i can think is they followed me home from there, flashed the key and my gates then came back and took it silently. They pushed it down the drive and down the lane though because it sounded like all hell let loose when it started and i never heard a thing just stills of my camera of 4 asian lads pushing it then a video from a shop down the road of it being driven through the village. Mad how technology is now days. They even shut the gate behind them electronically. |

Blind date with a woman has so far led to a third date. It won’t be till next week when we go for a romantic walk through Blackpool Illuminations, as we are both busy with work. So hopefully that’ll go well and who knows. |

I was running in the park trying out something new.. I passed this older lady with her dogs on a first loop.. she smiled and shouted after me...oh I wish I could still run like you! I shouted back.. walking is just as good..and continued.. second loop.. she is still walking chatting up more people haha.. I pass and she goes at the top of the voice.. You are amazing.. keep going! I was huffing and puffing by that point.. 5k in but managed to shout back thanks and she gave me energy to squeeze in another half a kilometre plus!

I know the phone call must have been bitter sweet but at least its no longer a mystery. And I hope there is a way for them to be punished for it.. eventually  |

Nothing. The car will go to the insurance as stolen recovered and sold off presumably, unless they have tampered with body numbers then itll get crushed |

Ours was a little hotel in a village in Essex. We got there so parked outside and he ran in to quickly check in as we were going to a wedding, left keys in car as I was in there. I got out to go in the boot for something quickly and all of a sudden the car sped off, boot open! We were in the middle of nowhere though! All I kept thinking was what if we’d have had the kids in the back. It was surreal! |

I don't think this counts but it amused/interested me.
I found a tiny 'thing' on the book I was reading in bed.
I didn't want to touch it so I picked it up really carefully and noticed it couldn't be a natural shape...
I 'hunched' that it could go into a punch hole in a beautiful filigree rule I was using to keep my book open .....
Lo .... it was a perfect fit.
Like cinderella all over again. I wasn't cagey about touching it when I realised it was a miniscule piece of wood. |

yeh id say so. It looks terrible, wrapped in a foil gold, big wheels, lowered to within a inch of its life, some sort of asian writing in the front screen with 'bitcoin' logos at each side. Its all rather tragic. |

Surprised last night.
Husband was housesitting at his mothers so I went round with the kids to keep him company - plus I missed him.
He told the kids to climb into bed so I could go home and enjoy the peace and quiet and the lie in... I woke up at 7am |

Our gas bill went up by almost 17% on our Oct invoice - which wasn't a surprise, as the supplier had notified us at the end of Aug of the imminent increase...
....what was a surprise, however, was when it went up by a further 20% on the Nov invoice - that was totally unexpected, as no notice had been given...
....even more unexpected was when I phoned them to complain on Friday, and got an apology and promise of a revised bill which would be at the previous rate...  |
