My real player has stopped downloading from Google.

Why?

Is it fixable ?

Have you got the most recent version of real player.

If so it may be something you tube has done to stop downloads.

This is usually the reason. It's happened to me twice in the past.

Real player last updated August 2012 so maybe you need to update or re-install. xx

No, you shouldn't do but you can back it up first to be sure, if you have space. I'm on my phone not my computer so I can't check where your library is likely to be but someone else probably can.

If you have the latest version and decide to reinstall, don't uninstall first, just run the setup again.

If that doesn't work let us know. It should be fixable.

It will download from other sites now that i've updated but not you tube...

Its flash player to run youtube. Delete your current flash player and reinstall. Or restart your laptop. Mine temporarily stopped working when using Chrome.

You tube have clamped down recently on illegal downloads. Try another you tube converter, that may do the trick, there are a few to choose from.

when was the last time you could download music from youtube? because they stopped people using convertors a while back and id guess real player does the same thing.
