My favourite sealant is Sikaflex EBT, available from Screwfix, about £6 a tube.

It sounds as though the seal has gone, if it’s around the part that opens rather than the frame part! You can buy it in hardware shops! Very easy to fix lovely! Miss pc

The best I've found have been via Amazon self adhesive tape but you can buy the proper seals that also comes in a roll you just cut to size but bit washing up liquid on then push on pretty simple

I was looking at the amazon tape earlier. Think I'll get a selection of tape and seals and go from there. Thank you

If you're renting, why not call the landlord or agency and get them to sort it out?

Because I thought if it only costs a couple of quid it would be quicker to do it myself

Me too, though you can buy a special film, like the stuff that comes shrink wrapped around some products

I have this problem too and last winter I sat freezing my ass off the whole winter. I have a draught coming from my bathroom and it's always bitter in there but there are no gaps. It doesn't help that my hallway is cold too. I got a draught excluder for the bottom of the bathroom door but it's not made much difference. Don't know what to do and it's a rented flat too. No point saying anything to the landlady as she's useless x

I'm not really sure what to suggest. Perhaps one of the other posters may be able to help you?

You can get a specific clear film for windows, I was trying to find it last night to add it on here, but I can’t remember what it’s called. Homebase should know.
