I usually wear Ghost. I’ve worn it for ever but I'm fancying a change.

Any recommendations?

I prefer sweet vanilla based fragrances to anything overtly strong and overpowering.

God I’ve got quite a few.

Armani Si is nice. Angel EDT is a lighter version of EDP and is very gourmondy but lasts forever.

Alien Goddess (gold bottle) is gorgeous, I have this and it has a lovely vanilla scent with Alien DNA

This has vanilla as one of the base notes so should work. I adored it on my skin.

The one I've got which is vanilla based is Britney Spears Sunset Fantasy. I'm told it's a bit juvenile, and I don't care because I enjoy it. It doesn't last as long on the skin as some of the others I have.
