"The royal family theme, Liam can’t hold a note (he can’t even pronounce sun-she-ine properly)- on the whole they were the poor mans Blur, the sound of the 90’s chav and football hooligan"
Eh ? I can't think of two different bands I could understand if you'd said a poor man's Beatles.
But I much prefer Blur to Oasis. |

Obviously not but a poor man's something normally means a cheap copy. I don't think Oasis were a cheap copy of Blur. Anyway it's not important enough to argue about. Have a great day |

Though there was the 'which is most popular', mainly to help sales, they can't be compared.
Other than Blur had a couple of reasonable songs but otherwise boring and Oasis had a couple of reasonable songs but otherwise irritating. |

Had a great sing a long with a bunch of strangers at a pub to "don't look back in anger" last month. Was so good to bond over music and feel so "normal" again.

Enjoyed the early stuff in my teens even if, looking back when older and wiser, I can now see how derivative some of it is.
Probably Whatever, Don't Look Back in Anger and Cigarettes and Alcohol are my favourites but I enjoy plenty from the first couple of albums. |
