I’m in hospital!!!!!

Had major surgery yesterday, likely to be in for a week… then going home, and back in for op 2 and another week and in!!

Observation so far…

1) hospital food… not that bad anymore!! Granted no Chinese but liveable

2) oral morphine.. wow!!! Lol

3) I have a suction pump on the back of my head that basically sounds like the world’s longest fart!

4) god bless sky go and unlimited data!!!

5) time to catch up on series 2 of ted lasso!!!

Anyway… I’m likely to be around here for a lot so I apologise in advance for being annoying old man

Ooh enjoy Ted Lasso. I’ve yet to watch series 2.

Wishing you an easy and fast recovery Fabio!

If you get really bored I find trying to memorise epic poetry to impress the ladies is always a great use of time.

I hope you aren't in too much pain (and if you are mainline the morphine) and your op was a great success. Don't worry about being annoying on here, there will always be someone worse

That apology is years late .

Being serious - hope it all goes well. That especially goes for flirting with the nurses - in a cool, fun way, not a creepy Tory MP kinda way, of course .

I hope that your surgery went well Fabio and I wish you a speedy recovery. Hospitals aren’t much fun and they have a different concept of time there!

Luckily there are the autumn internationals later today on Prime!

Hey Fabio, wishing you a speedy recovery!

When my step-dad was in Hospital lots my mum took him in his Kindle (or audio books if you just want to be read to) his IPod for music, got some Suduko/Crossword/Puzzle books (& pens), some cartons of drink for when you’re thirsty and they’ve not been around with the water top up/tea trolley (depends if you’re allowed that though). Some loose change if they bring daily newspapers around or something. A handheld fan if they have the ward heating set at Scorchio!

But most importantly, get your rest.

Speedy recovery to you . Are you allowed visitors?

Oral morphine you say? Lovely stuff, if they offer laxatives, accept. That stuff is akin to fast acting concrete

Wishing you a a speedy recovery. Sounds like you're having a bit of a rough ride, but you seem to be keeping your spirits up.

Hope you have some visitors who will bring you lots of goodies to eat, binge watch lots of programmes and subtly flirt with the nurses.

Take care.

Hey Mr T, I've been in hospital 3 times in the past 3 years. The food, as you say, isn't too bad these days, although you seem to get carrots with everything.

Oramorph kicks ass, I was hallucinating on it sometimes

All the best, get well soon

Have you managed to hallucinate off the oramorph yet? My dad was seeing puppet shows turns out it was his own wiggling toes

No, but I have just had a really lucid dream that I could be in 2 different places at once, with being in a hospital bed being the perfect alibi…

Can you tell my new powers were not used for good! Lol
