A great singer and a lovely personality but limits her range as she seems to stick to big ballads.
With a voice like that, she could genre hop all day long. I think Damon Albarn mentioned his disappointment that she's reluctant to expand. Which is a shame.

I know I might be in the minority, but to me she is overrated and her voice sounds like fingers down a chalkboard.
I can't watch Skyfall unless I can fast forward the title song. |

I'd say she is very much rated.
Loved a song of hers called hometown glory which I heard maybe 15 years ago before she made it big. Nice lyrics & she was class then she went crazy popular a few years later |

She’s a really good singer.
Personally though, I think she’s not in the same league as the really great singers from soul/jazz etc such as Esther Phillips, Aretha, Sarah Vaughan, Candi Staton, Ella or Alice Clark. |

She's a great singer and comes across really well in interviews but I don't like her songs.
I think all her songs are very similar and seem to center on breakups.
The expensive tickets were for the Hyde Park Concert. Tickets at the front were expensive. General admission tickets to be in the concert area but not the fenced front areas were cheaper. |

"No.
I watched her (several years ago) perform Someone Like You, live at the Brits, it was a career defining moment for her and just beautiful. Not overrated at all"
outstanding voice and great musician |

The limit of my knowledge about someone called Adele is that she is a popular singer, at present, and has drastically revamped her former image.
I do not think I have ever knowingly heard one of her recordings.
To paraphrase the television interviewer Robin Day's comments to Tory politician, John Nott, "---a here today, gone tomorrow politician--", Adele will have her day in the sun, 'exploit' her fans, and her managers, record company and concert promoters were earn a crust too.
She will eventually fade into obscurity, and if her affairs are managed prudently, now and in the future, she will never starve. |

She does bore me occasionally and I couldn’t handle a gig , but easy on me Is elite . I want to hate it and it’s so good . Do love
I had good intentions
And the highest hopes
But I know right now
That probably doesn't even show

She didn't get the chance to feel the world around her. Should she give up? Hello? My god this reminds me of when she was young. Bless your soul you've got your head in the clouds. |

"I guess it's subjective
Certainly talented, but I think the hype sometimes exceeds ability, just as with Ed Sheeran
"
We saw Ed in 2018. Just him & his guitar. Amazing. Not many can fill a football stadium like that

London/Essex... ish... Romford to be exact |
I think it's a reflection of the times. She especially stands out as a vocalist amongst her mediocre contemporaries who'd rather work with their producers to make overproduced paint by number songs. She let's her voice and the song do the storytelling. Nice and simple.
Whilst the appeal has definitely worn off, I felt her new song was extremely formulaic upon the first few listens. But it's grown on me. It's not groundbreaking but it's well crafted. I think that deserves some credit. |

Yes. Completely. But she has her market and does it well. Can't stand her off key out of tune warblings myself but I seem in the minority. |

Each to their own... But seriously you can go into any music pub on a Saturday night and over half of them will be better singers. Able to hold a note and stay on the note, not be half a tone flat and not sing out of the back of their throat and that ridiculous melisma that all xfactor singers do.
Like I said.... She's got great commercial acumen... Loads seem to love her and good luck but a great voice and a great singer... Not even close to great. |

His music is unprescribed mogadon. It’s just nasal melodies sung out of tune? |

I agree.
There is a hidden pulse within the new song that only emerges the more you listen to it.
Well crafted, yes |
