My parents need a bathroom refurb they live in dartford. I have been looking at prices etc but its hard to trust people. Have you made friends on here with someone asked them for a quote and its all gone well after that. Understandbly the quote has to be fair and in the past when we had our bathrooms doen one came up with such a low price it was too good to be true so we did not go for it. That was a good move as the reviews on that person went downhill soon after |

Spoken to a tradesmen on here but not met him.
Thinking about it I'd probably like to keep the two separate. Due to my work they could be clients and then it gets abit iffy. |

I once met a roadside recovery driver for a social. Wasn't my cup of tea so never met again for fun but will occasionally message. He turned up to my house when my car was broken down! Made him a brew and we had a natter lol |

Most often I get approached by people wanting for freebies or cut rate work, and I'm not interested in doing either. I've done a few jobs through the site over the years though. I just view the Carpentry as a social meet opportunity. Work as per normal and then play, or not, after the job is finished. |

i met one cliet off a site like this, been working for them over 10 years now but mostly people get confused about the fact that if you come to work, you come to work. and to do a good job you need to focus on the work.

I could genuinely do with a good painter/decorator as well as a plumber in the Leeds/Wakefield area.
Also an electrician for a couple of small jobs.
I see no reason why not use someone from here as long as they are good at what they do and treat them the same as you would a tradesman you come across elsewhere. It's up yo individuals if the combine that with any fun or not I suppose. |
