Visited a few times early 90's...
Can recall one visit winter time, around lunch time started snowing..by about six it was thigh deep...bloody hell you think..this is proper snow..yet the city didnt grind to a halt it kept going..
Not like here about 6 inches and everything stops |

If it had to be a city I want one that is either very small or very close to big mountains. Maybe Kathmandu. If I'm allowed a town then that massively increases my options.

I lived 6 months in Kathmandu a few years back. Lovely, lovely people. Madly busy place. |
