Seems to me that these days on here, it’s just another form of social media with naked pictures.
The majority of people generally being ill mannered and rude, just like Twitter ect
Thoughts? |

definitely a social platform not sure about the mixed media they are strict on what you can upload, the forums need more memes and clickable links.
Never had a problem with people being mean or rude it wouldn't bother me anyhow, i can be a bit bitchy myself if needed. |

"That's how I'm using at the minute"
Just read what you'd written, haha! I'm using it as a social media platform at the minute, just browsing forums when I'm bored. Not to be mean, haha! |

"I wouldn’t say the majority of people are at all."
No neither would I.
I think that society is reflected anywhere on social media. People have less manners as a rule. What ever their walk of life. |

So what's your point?

Not really, there’s isn’t even an app, api ir proper token based authentication and you can’t get notifications or share images natively from your phone. It’s more of an old school news group and user directory. A social media platform must have an API so that other apps, devices etc can use it |

100% of people on here are people. People can be rude. Many are. If rude people annoy you (and why shouldn’t they) you’ll probably suffer from confirmation bias each time someone is rude to you.
But overall, certainly on the forums, and also mainly in private messaging, I’ve found this place to be as tolerant and polite as any other place I engage with other people in. |

I'm not sure that the majority of people are rude. There are 10s of thousands of people who use this site everyday and don't use forums, don't use the cam rooms, don't get on the first page of hot pics ect. Just are just on and looking for other couples or singles or parties and they keep to themselves and chat to friends.
That's the vast vast majority of people on here. |

"I'm currently sat in my office, eating a Kvarg Yoghurt. Shortly I'll be tucking into a Twirl bar.
No, it's nothing like social media in my eyes.
"
It's no good if you can't upload a picture of it.
I might start some threads "to the man in the white Astra who cut in on the roundabout this morning, you almost hit me and I've got your license plate and I'm going to phone the police if you don't apologise. Do the right thing" or "does anyone know why the police helicopter is out?". |

Yes your point???
If one doesn't like the way any media platform is set up, why is one still here anonymously.
Is one struggling to converse through lack of effort on one's profile this one is wondering? |

I think social media just shows a slightly more real view of people than the one they present in person. I don't believe it makes people worse, they just make less effort to hide their worse side.
I have what I call my theory of cunts (please excuse the language) which states that everyone is a cunt and the level of their cuntishness is set only by its perceived cost in social and monetary terms.
For example, if you live in a nice family neighbourhood, having loud d*unken parties at 4am is going to cost you a lot socially, it may affect chances for your children and even your career. If you live on a rough estate, so long as you're feared enough not to be assaulted for it there is no social cost to upsetting the neighbours, so people don't care about doing so. Similarly, at those parties, even while d*unk people are aware of the cost of their behaviour. If your mates will laugh when they're told you pissed in the hostesses pot plant you won't care about doing it, if you're likely to be shunned from the village Christmas fair committee then probably not.
Some people percive the cost of bad behaviour to be higher than others and consider good behaviour a better way to increase the quality of their life but even they, in the right circumstances, will reach a level where being a cunt has a lower cost than not and will do the cunty thing.
Social media can work the other way, people who traditionally had little or no voice (minorities, those living under political oppression) can now be heard and the cost of continuing to treat them badly goes up so companies work to remove racist policies for example.
