The act of transferring your number is easy, even if its to another network as BustyB pointed out…
Whats more problematic is making sure you dont lose contacts and messages, pics etc, this is more of a danger on android tbh than iphone cos chances are your i phone is backed up auto to your i cloud etc
If you are going to another network from the one you got your phone with, but using the same h/set (you will also need a puk code) aswell, which unlocks the h/set to allow other networks sims to work, check with your provider tho cos some of them need unlocked some are already unlocked dependant on how much of a knob the company your with are  haha |

I changed over and it was fine, text for a pac, they said I may be without the service while it changed over but that was only for half hour.
Mr Ruggers on the other hand waited 5 days for his to be changed and it was a pain...so swings and roundabouts |
